Biography

Dr. Khadijat Olaitan OMOKANYE is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Haematology and Blood Transfusion, Faculty of Basic Clinical Sciences, College of Health Sciences, University of Ilorin. She obtained MBBS degree at Ahmadu Bello University Zaria and completed her residency training in haematology at the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital as a fellow of the West African College of Physicians (FWACP) and the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria (FMCPath) with a Master’s degree in Health Planning Management (MHPM) at the University of Ilorin She is the Director of The Unilorin Molecular Diagnostic and Research Laboratory (MDRL) Her research interests are in red cell haematology, haemato-oncology and Molecular diagnosis of  haematological disorders. The MDRL admits the first set of students for postgraduate certificate course in analytic molecular biology techniques.
